How about the last part? Zotero will work better using the connect and the desktop app, so where that's an option, that'd be the way to go (and would work for saving those pages)
That's the iOS app, not the Desktop app. For the mobile app, the equivalent of the connector is to share to Zotero while looking at the webpage in your browser.
(Edit: I think it's share -- I'm an Android person so not sure about the iOS language)
