I keep getting an error message saying "An error occurred saving with PhilPapers. Attempting to save using Embedded Metadata instead".

    Thanks for letting us know. It seems like PhilPapers now restricts citation exports when you aren't logged in. I've added a workaround for some articles that include embedded BibTeX, and made it not offer to save other articles when you aren't logged in. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update with those changes within a few minutes, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.

    But for best results, you should create a PhilPapers account and log in before trying to save articles to Zotero.
