Citations won't load or I get an error message

I have had issues with Zotero in Desktop Word on my MacBook after downloading the most recent version. The citations won't load at all when I search, or, sometimes, when it does find them and I hit "enter", I get the same error message: "Zotero experienced an error updating your document. Would you like to review troubleshooting instructions?" I have tried everything suggested and, sometimes when I close word and Zotero and reopen it starts to work again (usually failing again after a couple of citations). This has delayed my work significantly - what can I do?

    Are you still having trouble? If so, can you provide a Report ID to start?

    Does it work in a new, empty document?
