Bibliography Sorted by Year

Is there a way to select references and save a bibliography where they are listed by year published, and even preferably with year listed first on each line.

Is there a style for this? Common for CVs, grants, reports.

Am I missing something obvious?

There is the American Psychological Association 7th edition (curriculum vitae, sorted by descending date) style, but not with the year first.
