Rights of Members of Groups
I recently opened a public, closed membership group and invited one other person to join the group. However, since then, somebody else has joined as a member of the group (without invitation). Since this is a closed membership group, how did that happen? I know that person can access the group library. Can that person make additions to the library? Can that person delete anything from the group library? Thanks!

azerbabe 1Maybe my question is too self-evident (I know the groups say "anyone can view, only members can edit," but no one who was a member of our group invited anyone else to join the group as a member. How can we get people out of our group that are uninvited members to ensure the library is not deleted from?

dstillmanNobody has reported anything like this before. Note, though, that someone simply needs to apply and be accepted—they don't need to be invited. E-mail support@zot....org with the group name, the user who doesn't belong, and a link to this thread.

fcheslackIf you are an admin for the group, you can remove them under the "Members" tab of the group settings.
