In some cases zotero doesn't recognize correctly the citation structure

I have a macbook pro retina (2015) version (11.7.10) and word is 16.77. and Zotero is 7.0.22. i noticed that with some articles zotero does't recognize correctly the citation structure. For example in some cases it adds the link of the article even if it is not required by the style of citation.

which citation style? This looks like an Elsevier style? They do want DOIs in references for easier linking even if they don't show up in the published articles.

There do seems to be some issue with metadata, though -- that would depend on how you import the items (both the Benson et al. and the Numeri citation look like they have various issues.
