Upgrade StorageScript to get Kindle Highlights and Notes into Zotero

I have been looking around for a way to get all my Kindle books, notes, and highlights into Zotero in some kind of automated way, and had come up short. I use Obsidian and have been using the excellent KindleHighlights plugin [ https://github.com/hadynz/obsidian-kindle-plugin] to sync my notes down to a vault in Obsidian. Not finding an easier way to do this than copying and pasting, tonight I used ChatGPT to gin up a python script to take the data from the Obsidian files and move them into Zotero where IMHO they belong.
I know this is just another work-around, but if you are looking for a solution and have even a couple of these pieces already this might help you. You can find the code and documentation here:
