Problems saving to zotero - pdf

Hello
I have been having issues with saving to zotero desktop using zotero connectors in both Bing and Chrome.
I have tried all the troubleshooting steps as per:

Occasionally, it seems to work when I have just opened the Zotero desktop app but then stops working again. Please note, if I try to close the desktop app and then reopen, it often tells me that the previous app instance is running and I can see that it is still processing stuff in the Windows Task Manager - dont know if this is related?

I get the attached error message when trying to save via the Zotero connectors.
