Word 2003 Plugin Error Message

I am getting the following error message whenever I start MS Word 2003:

The add-in template is not valid. (C:\...\STARTUP\~$Zotero.dot)

So far as I can tell, everything still works correctly, it just gives that error message. Has anyone else seen this?

That sounds like a temporary file. Try searching for "~$Zotero.dot" and moving that file to another directory. My hunch is that the error will disappear. If Zotero stops working, put the file back and we'll try something else.

Thank you. That worked. In the same directory, there was also a file "Zero.dat", which I left alone. Everything seems to be running smoothly now.
