I put together (or rather did with Claude Code) a CLI for read-only search (and attachment extract) for Zotero:

Sharing here in case of interest. I've only tested on OSX. I'm going to be experimenting with integrating the CLI into research workflows with agentic software like Claude Code (since it can use the tool to copy PDFs to its working directory and then operate on them).
