Problems connecting Zotero to Libreoffice in Ubuntu 24.04.2
Hi!
(I have been at this issue before, but this is a brand new installation and I have problems)
I have a brand new installation of Ubuntu 24.04.2 and I want to install Zotero and integrate it with Libreoffice.
I have installed zotero via apt, as a deb package (following instructions on this website).
When I install Libreoffice with apt, it simply does not run.
When I install Libreoffice through the App center (I undertand that as using snap), I get a functional version. I also have the unopkg in
/snap/libreoffice/344/lib/libreoffice/program/unopkg
However, when I ue the Zotero Plugin Installation wizard, it seems not to recognize the unopkg:
"The unopkg executable could not be found in the selected LibreOffice installation directory. Please ensure that you have selected the correct directory and try again."
Exactly the same message is given when I use the apt installed version, in
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/unopkg
Anyone having any advice for me here?
Magnus

adomasvenWe recommend installing LibreOffice by downloading the packages directly from libreoffice.org website. Let us know if you have issues with those.
