Losing my mind trying to unlink citations on Google Doc
I have been trying and failing to unlink citations on Google Doc. I go to the Zotero menu, click unlink citations, follow the prompts, delete the fields, get the broken link icon on the upper right corner, and yet somehow, when I try to download the file as a PDF, it says that I still have linked citations. When I try to unlink them again, it just tells me to add a citation to do that. The citations are now red and when I click on it and go to edit with Zotero, it tells me to relink the citation which I do not do. If I go ahead and download as a PDF, that same citation is a link that goes to Zotero. What is going on? I've done this before, I know how to do it, why doesn't it work now?

adomasvenIt sounds like something went wrong during the unlinking procedure. Did you try restoring the document from history before unlinking, and trying to unlink it again?
