Adding a source via API

I want to use Zotero to store sources on ChatGPT deep research for correct citing. I can scan through the report and find all the links / URLs, but I can't find a way to send those to Zotero to do its magic (where it gets the contents at that URL, figures out how to cite it, stores the source material in the collection, etc.).

Am I missing something obvious? I did try searching the forums and couldn't find anything obvious there.

    OK I hacked this by making a script that causes Chrome to visit that site and trigger Zotero Connect. But it's a hack with lots of issues; for example, it saves them all to my library rather than the Group library I'm working with.

    Any advice here?

    I see lots of questions on the forum but no answers for anybody; are these forums monitored at all or any questions answered?

    I guess this is not the right place. According to the Developer Documentation:
    Questions regarding the Zotero API, however, should always go to zotero-dev.

    Ah got it, thank you! Will repost there. I didn't realize it was a different forum, damn ChatGPT told me here was where to post the issue ;-)
