Preview on Mac to Zotero

I have highlighted articles on Preview... how do I get it imported with the highlights into Zotero?

    The highlights will appear automatically when you open the PDF in the Zotero reader, but to make them editable, you have to go to File → Import Annotations, which will transfer them out of the file and into the Zotero database.
