Upgrade StorageAuthor as an entity in Zotero 7
Hi!
Would it be possible in Zotero 7 to add authors as an entity?
This way it would be possible to list all works of this author AND
keep track of the author's ORCID and contact details, his/her website etc.
would that be feasible?

stekoI agree that this would be a very useful feature, particularly to normalize and deduplicate author names across the entire library.

tiffanygarrett+1 to this feature. I'm working on trying to use Zotero to track publications by local authors at my institution and it would be amazing if I could track more of the data about those authors within Zotero directly rather than matching it in a separate spreadsheet.
