Zotero not starting, even after update to 7.0.19 on Windows

I have downloaded Zotero 7.0.19 from the website today, but the app will not start. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice.

    What exactly happens?

    Is this an institutional computer? Are you running Cisco security software?
  • When I click Zotero to open, the loading circle spins for a second but then nothing happens.

    And yes, it is an institutional computer running Cisco Secure Client.

    You should contact your IT department, point them to this comment, and ask them to make sure they're running the latest version of the Cisco software. This was fixed by Cisco back in March. (If it's happening again with recent versions, we'd want to know.)
