Help with customisation of Vancouver (author-date) style
Hi,
I would like to use a style close to Vancouver. Here are the modifications I need to make.
Question 1
I need to cite in-text with the following format:
Author1 Year
Only the first author, and no "et al." should be appear in the text.
I found the style Vancouver "author-date". How can I modify it so only the first author appears and the "et al." doesn't appear, please?
Question 2
I need the number of authors in the bibliography to follow these rules:
If one author: Author1 [Rest of the Vancouver reference]
If two authors: Author1, Author2 [ Rest of the Vancouver reference]
If three authors or more: Author1 et al. [Rest of the Vancouver reference]
How could I update the style to do this?
Question 3
In the bibliography, within the Vancouver full reference, I need to:
a. repeat the in-text citation
b. insert Returns between the author(s), the paper title, and the journal information.
c. remove any indent
Example:
Nallani 2003:
Nallani, S. C et al.
Dose-dependent Induction of Cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4 and Activation of Pregnane X Receptor by Topiramate.
Epilepsia, 2003; 44(12), 1521–1528.
I would very much appreciate it if someone could help with these modifications! :D
Thank you!
Cecile
