Protein Science citation style

The protein Science cytation style is not correct. It is not numeric. Someone could solve this problem ?

    Can you link to the guidelines and an open-access paper that shows this requirement and say what exactly is wrong? Then we can look at this quicker.

    @andreailari Were you asked by editors to use a numeric style? That's what journal instructions mention, but the published works are all author-date. The Endnote style is also author-date.

    When the instructions and the actual published works do not match, the volunteers that work on the styles (like damnation) often go with the published versions.
