"Saving to zotero.org" would appear when you try to save if you don't have the Zotero app open or if the Zotero Connector can't connect to it and you gave it permission to save to zotero.org.
Restart your browser and try to save again, and if it asks if Zotero is running, follow the link to the troubleshooting page.
