Import or copy of an existing library of pdfs?

Hi, I'm new - learning to use Zotero. I have buildt my own library of pdfs over the years. Can I import or copy this library (as a whole or particular pdfs) into my Zotero-space?
If it is possible, what are the steps to follow?
