Zotero not installing the Word Add-In

In zotero (desktop app), i go on Zotero/Settings/Cite/Word Processors and click on "Install Microsoft Word add in", but nothing happens. Not pop up window, no option to select, etc. And nothing shows on Word when I re-open it later.
I've tried closing zotero and re-opening.
I'm on a brand new Macbook air.
Sequoia 15.2 OS

All the troubleshooting online helps AFTER a first window with options pops out, not if it doesn't.

    You may have denied Zotero's permission to access other app data when initially prompted. Restart your computer and try again.

    You should also update to a current version of Sequoia.

    I've just updated Sequoia AND Zotero, retarsted the computer.

    Here again nothing happens when I click on "Install Microsoft Word Add-In...
    How do I try to un-deny Zotero's permission to access other app data?

    PS: seeing as I was abel to install and set up the Notero plug-in a few weeks back, I don't undserstand why Word would be blocked...

    I've also tried following the manual method found on the Zotero website. I can't find the Word Startup Folder on my Macbook Air.

    The given adress ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/Word leads nowhere.

    The Word App / Contents does not contain any StartUp Folder...

    On my computer it is ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content.localized/Startup.localized/Word
