Subject: Error in Google Docs integration – “Another user is currently working on this document"
Hi Zotero team,
I’m currently experiencing a recurring issue when trying to insert or edit citations in a Google Docs file using Zotero.
Even though I am the only person working on the document, I receive the following error messages:
“Las citas del documento están siendo editadas por otro usuario Zotero. Por favor, inténtelo más tarde.”
And then: “Zotero bloquea el documento para evitar que varios usuarios editen las citas al mismo tiempo...” (full dialog screenshot attached)
Although I click “Yes” to unlock the document, it doesn’t work — the citation tool remains blocked and I still can’t insert or edit anything.
Steps I've tried:
Restarted Zotero and the browser
Tried using another browser (Chrome and Firefox)
Confirmed I’m the only one accessing the document
Selected “Yes” to unlock the document
Still, the issue persists.
Additional info:
Browser: Google Chrome
Operating System: Windows 10 - 64 bits
Zotero version: 6.0.36
