Upgrade StoragePlug-ins no longer change to PDF marks on certain sites (chrome, Edge)

When I view a PDF from this site on my web browser (chrome, Edge), the Zotero Connector does not change to a PDF icon.
The same site was responding until last month.

Will it respond again by changing the web browser settings, etc.?
Or is it necessary for the site operator to do something?
