Feature request: option to write/export notes as "text only"
I see that there is a thread here:
https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/489322#Comment_489322
that addresses the same issue as I have.
My issue is that I work in org-mode/emacs most of the time. So I need to type org-mode specific syntactical marks in plain-text and not have them interpreted as rich text, since the export will convert them to something that has been interpreted as markdown and will thus break everything.
Typically I need * to not be interpreted as list items, among many other things.
(I’ve tried a number of facilities to convert Zotero markdown to org-mode, but the output requires a lot of work.)
Also, the Ctrl/Cmd + Z command referred to in the other thread does not seem to work on already converted contents.
So, the feature is the following:
- have a "plain text" writing mode
- have a "plain text" export feature
Thank you for your consideration.
