Translation of the expression "edited"

Hi, I am writing here because I do not like some italian translations in the different styles. I am speaking about the expression "edited", that in Italian should be "a cura di", spelled like this and in round brackets.
However, in Zotero bibliographies the expression is "A c. Di", that is wrong because of the uppercase letters and the shortened word "cura" (but some peoples also use the shortened version).
I usually modify the default styles in Visual CSL Editor, but this time I can't figure out where to change this wrong localization.

Specifically, you'd want to edit https://github.com/citation-style-language/locales/blob/master/locales-it-IT.xml and submit a PR there.

(I'm not sure about the uppercasing, though. Someone with more CSL knowledge than me may be able to weigh in.)

Thank you very much for your help. I have managed to change by myself the related text string, but I can't figure out how to have it in lowercase!
Also, I needed to have all author names in small caps, so I changed the relative macros. Buy now I have also "A Cura Di" in small caps, just like it is related directly to author string formatting.

Oh, I also forgot to say that in the linked page about locales-it, the string is correct (a cura di), but it's not in Zotero, where I ALWAYS have "A C. Di", with strange uppercase and strange shortened version

What do you mean by "in Zotero"? In the interface or in a specific citation?
