Zotero and Statista
When I add a webpage from the Chrome Zotero addon from Statista, it doesn't take the author. Perhaps it happens on other websites, even though the author is mentioned in the beginning "by," and if generating the citation on Statista, the author is mentioned as well. So Zotero doesn't pick the author for some reason
example: 13139/estimated-worldwide-mobile-e-commerce-sales/
"Global Mobile E-Commerce Worth $2.2 Trillion in 2023
E-Commerce
by
Katharina Buchholz,
Aug 10, 2023"
Zotero citation: "Infographic: Global Mobile E-Commerce Worth $2.2 Trillion in 2023. (2023, August 10). Statista Daily Data. https://www.statista.com/chart/13139/estimated-worldwide-mobile-e-commerce-sales"
Statista generated: "Buchholz, K. (August 10, 2023). Global Mobile E-Commerce Worth $2.2 Trillion in 2023 [Digital image]. Retrieved June 10, 2025, from https://www-statista-com.clermont-sb.idm.oclc.org/chart/13139/estimated-worldwide-mobile-e-commerce-sales/"
What should be done?
Thank you

AbeJellinekWe don't have specific support for Statista, but we should still be able to pick up the author on that page. I'll look into it.

AbeJellinek@meni74759: That page (and others on Statista) should now save with author info.
