Zotero Error Report ID: 1226742937

When syncing my desktop account, received an error message stating:
"Collection 102 not found for item 1/87EIUSVH"

Completed the process the full report to be sent to Zotero administrators today (June 3, 2025) and now following up here with a forum post per Zotero instructions.

Note: I have two Zotero accounts with one on my work computer and one on my personal computer. I am in the process of merging both accounts to only use my personal account on both my work and personal computers.
The above error message occurred after I exported a backup file of my work computer Zotero account to my hard drive, unlinked the work Zotero account on my work computer, logged into my personal Zotero account on my work computer, imported my work computer Zotero back up files, and attempted to merge/clean up my duplicate files on my work computer using my personal Zotero account.
  • Start by updating to Zotero 7.

    If you're still having trouble after that, check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero settings.

    If that passes, provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option.
