Zotero Connector not working

My Zotero Connector has stopped working and I constantly receive the "Is Zotero Running?" error. The link http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping shows Zotero is running and I have followed all steps on the KB to no avail. I wanted to share this here in case anyone is also experiencing this. I am on MacOS Sequoia 15.5.
