Upgrade StoragePlug-in for Citations in Word stopped working
Hello,
I have come here after reading and trying the tips on the troubleshooting document. No luck. Zotero plug-in first stopped generating the reference list but now I can't cite any sources in the text either. It does take me to the citation bar and the authors' names appear but when I click enter, the error message appears.
I have updated word and zotero. I have a Mac OS.

Unless it still happens if you completely clear the contents of the document in a copy of the file, or if it happens in a new, empty document, you haven't fully followed the steps on Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents.
