Authors first initial suddenly appearing in in-text citations for APA 7

After using Zotero on APA 7 successfully for over a year, I recently have been experiencing a glitch where some authors appear with their first initial in the in-text citation (A. Lincoln, 1850) instead of last name only (Lincoln, 1850). It only happens with a few authors. I have checked how they are entered in the library, and it seems correct. Does anyone have an answer as to why this may be happening?
