exporting author name with umlaut to BibTeX as Unicode

I've noticed that exporting a library containing an article entry with a first author last name of Ölveczky, a title of "title", and a year of 2003 as UTF-8 results in a BibTeX entry whose key is spelled "lveczky_title_2003". Is there some way to export keys that do contain the accented characters for use by Unicode-aware bibtex replacements such as biber?

If you look at the BibTex.js translator in the translators directory of your Zotero data directory, you can change the substitutions used in creating citation keys. This is not easily changed without modifying the translator manually since it commonly causes issues for the many users whose software doesn't support such citation keys.
