Grammarly Desktop Application Not Working With Zotero
Hi everyone, I tried searching the forums for a similar issue I'm experiencing, but couldn't find it. If it already exists, I apologize for the duplicate post.
I am running Zotero 7 on Windows. I frequently highlight and annotate PDFs in Zotero for my projects, making these integral aspects of my research. I have read on the forums that spell check, or at least correction, does not work within the annotations (at least not to the point where you can right-click the misspelled word and then select the correct spelling). That is not exactly new. What may be new or odd is that I am running Grammarly (the desktop application) alongside Zotero, hoping this would resolve my frequent and annoying spelling errors that occur when I type quickly. For some reason that I cannot explain, Grammarly and Zotero do not seem to get along. Grammarly's icon appears, indicating that it can correct spelling; however, as soon as I click on it, it seems to crash and disappear for a short time. I submitted an error report to Grammarly in case this is an issue with their app, but I thought I'd post it here as well.
Does anyone know why this happens, or if there's a way to fix it? I am also open to other suggestions for spell check/correction (aside from just spelling it correctly in the first place!) in the annotation sections, if they exist.
Thank you!
