Storage issues

I have been using Zotero for several years and have apparently reached the storage limit, so none of the papers I have added will open through safari / chrome etc. In order to resolve this, I would like to remove specific papers from my zotero / or archive them (if this is possible) from old projects, but not entirely remove all evidence of these papers. Is this possible?

Yes, you can expand items and delete child attachments separately. Remember to empty the trash after.

Note that, depending on how long you've been getting that error, you might have much more stored locally than online:
