Group Library Not Appearing or Syncing (No Activation Option)
Title: Group Library Not Appearing in Zotero 7.0.15 – No Option to Enable Library
Hello Zotero Support,
I’m having persistent issues getting a newly created private group to appear under “Group Libraries” in Zotero 7.0.15 on my Mac.
I’ve tried the following:
Created multiple groups via both zotero.org and the “New Group…” option inside the Zotero desktop app
Enabled all appropriate Library Reading, Editing, and File Sharing permissions
Confirmed I’m fully signed in and syncing correctly
Ensured “Sync group libraries” is enabled in preferences
Re-synced and restarted Zotero repeatedly
However, the group never appears in my desktop app, and in the Library Settings page, there is no checkbox saying:
“This group will have a library. Group members can add, edit, and remove items.”
I’ve attached a screenshot to show what I see.
It seems the group is being created without library functionality enabled, even though all settings are correct.
Could you please look into this? I would appreciate it if you could enable the library manually for the group or help me resolve it.

barthelmessI'm having similar issues with several of my students who are using PCs and Zotero 8. They have joined the library on the web but even when they sync on the desktop app, they can't get shared group libraries to show up. please advise
