Word doesn't show zotero anymore

It has always worked. For my entire three years at uni zotero has always shown in word. It did so last week. And now it won't show anymore. I tried the toubleshooting steps (tried reinstalling the plug in via the zotero program but it gave an error message). I don't understand what I can do now. I am too afraid to do something else as I have my entire library in there (i did synch to my account) but I am currently writing my thesis and I am so stressed and now zotero has stopped on top of that. I'm afraid to reinstall the whole thing because if it doesn't show now (while it always has) why would it when i reinstall? PLease help i am desperate
