I am writing to request immediate assistance regarding a critical issue. On May 17, 2025, between 10:30 PM and 12:11 AM (GMT+6), I unintentionally selected the "Replace Online Library" option under the sync settings, which resulted in the deletion of my entire Zotero library from the online server.
Regrettably, I do not have a local backup, and the lost data includes essential research materials that are of great importance to my academic work.

dstillmanWe're not able to restore individual libraries from server-side backups, sorry.

dstillmanedited 12 days agoTo be clear, though, you would only lose data this way if you used "Replace Online Library" from an empty local library. If you created that data on another computer, your data would still be there, and you could disconnect from the internet before starting Zotero and use "Replace Online Library" on that computer. (If it already synced, you could likely restore from one of the automatic backups.)
