Cannot sync, report ID 1886886933

Hi, I have been having this issue multiple times and cannot solve. Error shows:

A file sync error occurred. Please try syncing again.

If you receive this message repeatedly, restart Zotero and/or your computer and try again. If you continue to receive the message, submit an error report and post the Report ID to a new thread in the Zotero Forums.

Restarting Zotero and computer could not solve the problem.

  • Paste "T488IGPC" into the Zotero search bar in All Fields & Tags mode from the root of My Library. That should show you the attachment that's causing this. There's a forward slash in the filename that shouldn't be there.

    Zotero shouldn't have let you create an attachment with a slash in the filename, but apparently that was allowed somehow.

    We'll fix this, but for now you'd have to delete that attachment item and then delete it from the trash to allow the sync to go through. (You can make a copy of the PDF first and then add it back.)
