How Zotero (linux) communicates with other applications?
Hey there,
I just started some tinkering with zotero from flathub because of the bad ongoing experience with the official version and LibreOffice from system repos or flathub, witch leads to zotero crashes.
Now I wonder, how zotero communicates with p.e. libreoffice.
Is it via d-bus, IPC, dev syscalls, or app shared memory?
Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks in advance.
Idea: Maybe an official flatpak would be great for all Linux users. This could be "easily" maintained for all distros at once. :)

So it's just a network call? What I can not see: the transport protocoll?
So it's the fault of the flatpak? That's too bad.
The overall system integration with just the tarball is not that good, as well as the automated update process. This is a dealbreaker for me, that's why I try to get it working as flatpak. But then, I probably have no chance at this point.
