How to sync library without the files

Hello dears,

I'm new at Zotero and I want to sync my library without the files/attachments. I triedn to uncheck the full-text option in sync setting, but it still uploads the files.

You want to check the full text button but uncheck everything under File Syncing

Something has happened seen from my point of view. I am used to have my library locally and only local. But the new version tells me my library is full and I can see this is due to online uploads. Can I get back to my local storage again or do I have to downgrade to version 6 in order to do so?

@Grode: Nothing about this changes. All your files are still local, if you don't want to also sync them to online storage, disable file sync as above

I have another question, how can I make Zotero rename original files. I made the below choice but it doesn't work:

I'm guessing it does and you are seeing https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/attachment_title_vs_filename

If not that, do note that files need to actually be attached to metadata to rename
