Unable to use " Add to Note"

I want to use "Add to Note" when I highlight something.
However, on my Zotero, "Add to Note" isn't available.
Is there any specific setting for it?

I am using Zotero 6.0.37
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

You have to have a note open in the Notes pane in the sidebar on the right.

We'd need to see another screenshot that shows what you're doing. What I described certainly works.

I'm not sure what that's meant to show, but this works in reader tabs where you have a note opened in the sidebar. Nothing to do with the library tab.

Or you meant something different?

No, that's the library tab. Again, that has nothing to do with this. We're talking about the reader.

1) Open a PDF in a tab.

2) Click the toolbar button to open the sidebar on the right.

3) Click on the Notes button in the navigation bar on the right edge of the sidebar.

4) Use "Add to Note".
