Citation downlads from Google Scholar not working

I download most of my citations from google scholar, which normally works seamlessly. Since yesterday or the day before, it'd not working properly anymore. When I try to download the file, a pop up opens ("zotero connector") and closes again quickly.
Has anyone lese encountered this? What did you do?
