Spelling error in Word with citations
I don't know if this is a Microsoft Word problem or a Zotero problem, but I have no clue what to do.
I have used Zotero in Word for several years, and I have not experienced this before.
I use the Nature citation style with superscript numbers.
Recently Word has started to underline each word that has a citation with the red spelling error. When clicking on it Word suggest the word without the citation, and it seems that suddenly Word thinks that the citation is part of the word.
I have added a screenshot of a short section showing the problem:

I'm sorry for the confusion between Word and word.
I hope someone can help me
Thanks in advance
Sebastian

EDIT: Sorry, I misread your question. I've added a follow up.
Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2504 Build 16.0.18730.20122) 64-bit
I don’t think I recently updated it, but maybe it could have been without me noticing it. For my earlier written projects where I used citation with Zotero I think it was another version of Word, for instance Word didn’t have text predictions back then.
Yes, the same happens when I open a new document, and I have always had spell checking enabled in word
However, now there are no spelling checks on any word containing a citation, but maybe it has always been like that.
But thanks again, it was really helpful.
