Unable to use Zotero functionality in google doct

I am unable to add citations, edit document preferences, or do anything else through Zotero in a google doc I am working on. I have tried closing and re-opening both Chrome and Zotero. I have also tried making a copy of the document, and then deleting each half of the document to test if there was a problem within some portion. None of these led to a change in behavior. When I open a new google document, Zotero functionality does work. What should I do?

[JavaScript Error: "uncaught exception: undefined" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/file.js" line: 339}]

[JavaScript Error: "HTTP Integration Error" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/connector/server_connectorIntegration.js" line: 67}]

[JavaScript Error: "HTTP Integration Error" {file: "chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/connector/server_connectorIntegration.js" line: 67}]

appName => Zotero, version => 7.0.15 (ARM64), os => macOS 14.6.1, locale => en-US, extensions => Better BibTex for Zotero (7.0.8, extension)

    Carefuly follow the last step on Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents. As it says, unless you can clear the copied document completely and still get the error, you can isolate the problem(s) this way.

    You should also make sure you can reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins.
  • Thank you. I just tried making a copy of the google doc and then clearing all of the contents. The same error still occurs.

    I also tried "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode" in Zotero. The same error still occurs in both the original document and the copied document.

    Because this didn't make sense to me. I tried opening a new google doc and the zotero functionality all works perfectly well there.

    Any other ideas?

    Can you create a public share link for the cleared copy where you can still reproduce this and send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

    A Debug ID from Zotero for reproducing this could also be helpful.
