DOI Lookup Not Working

When I go to look up a DOI, I get an error stating "Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again." The identifiers are correct, and multiple do not work.

    There's an outage at Crossref, which provides DOI metadata:

    https://status.crossref.org/

    In the meantime, you can go to the article page on the publisher's site and save from there.
  • Crossref has partially restored connectivity, so we've switched Zotero over to use the metadata service that they've brought back up.

    Your Zotero should auto-update to use that service within a few minutes if it hasn't yet, or you can update translators manually from the Advanced pane of the Zotero settings.
  • This should've been working again in Zotero already due to the change above, but Crossref has now fully resolved the issue.
