Upgrade StorageAccessibility of Items Detail section
A user story to illustrate issue:
"I am using the NVDA with Zotero 7.0.15 on Windows. I am in the items detail section and I want to get the abstract. The button says something different if I tab to the expand/collapse button versus shift tabbing to it."
Procedure:
In the Items detail section, start at the "Abstract section collapsed" element.
Press tab to move the focus forward.
I hear "Expand abstract section, Button, 4 of 4 ".
I press Enter on the button.
I don't hear anything. Visually, the button expands. I expect to hear something like "expanded".
Now, tab past the Abstract section until you get to the Attached section.
Press shift tab to move the focus backwards to the control
I hear "Expand abstract section, Button, 4 of 4 ".
I press Enter on the button.
I now here it say "collapsed", which is what I expected
Behavior with JAWS:
When I do the same procedure with JAWS 2025, I never hear it say collapsed or expanded. I checked my verbosity settings and they are on high/beginner. I then switched into default settings mode and the problem still existed.
