Upgrade StorageLibreOffice crashes upon calling "Add note" from Zotero

Troublshooting (!):
! reinstalled Libre Office Plug-In
! ran Zotero in Administrator mode
+ inserting citation and bibliography from Zotero into .odt & .docx document works
- however, "Add note" (yellow box, see image below) causes Libre Office to crash (for both, text and image annotations)
! deactivated all Zotero plugins, restarted computer
! started fresh .odt file
=> error persists
? How may I troubleshoot
Goal: functioning import of text and picture annotations from Zotero (7.0.15) into LibreOffice (25.2.2.2)
