Format bibliography left-aligned instead of justified / Verzeichnis linksbündig statt Blocksatz?

I work in LibreOffice.
For Zotero references I use an edited version of the citation style “Soziologiemagazin (Deutsch)”.

My problem: The bibliography is formatted in justified text. This leads to many large gaps between the individual elements.
I would therefore like to format the bibliography flush left.
I assume this change can be made in the citation style editor? Can anyone give me a tip on where and how to do this in the citation style editor?

Can you share a screenshot of what your seeing?
Generally though the blocks are set via the word processor.

This is a screenshot of my list of sources.

You can see that the justified text creates large gaps (red arrows).

Of course, I can format the bibliography left-aligned manually. But I would prefer it if there was a way to switch this on in general.
  • If you mean the hanging indent, remove hanging-indent="true" from the style.

  • Thanks, but I'm happy with the hanging indent. Maybe the indent could be a little lower, but that's not a problem. My problem is the justified formatting. It causes the elements to be spaced out too much, resulting in large spaces between the elements. In my screenshot, for example, between the three words “University”, “Online”, “unter” (= under), which are stretched over an entire line. This problem could be solved by left-aligned formatting. I had hoped that I wouldn't have to do this manually, because it would no longer work after re-inserting the bibliography.
