Organising Saved Searches

Is it possible to group them? Does not seem so. If true, it is a feature suggestion. We have lots of them so a flat list is becoming oppressive. It could be into container folders or in some other clever way.
  • (long (!) & frequently requested feature that devs have generally said is on their list -- there was even a ticket on the old trac system; as usual without ETA)
  • I did have a look in the forums but failed to find these references, thanks. 15 years in the queue. Patience is one of the "perfections" (Pāramitās) in Buddism, need to add to to my CV.
  • I achieve some grouping by adding an underscore prefix to the names of my "topic" saved seaches. So they are all at the top of the list. "Author" saved searches don't have that, so they end up at the bottom. Any really important searches I add a double underscore to ... so they end up at the very top of the list.

A number prefix would allow even more groups.

Thanks. Yeah, I do that too, use prefixes.
  • I'll add another +1 to this FR. I just want to organise them as the number of saved searches for me is quite large and that's some extra scrolling before I can get to the "special" collections, trash, and group collections. To clarify, after seeing those old threads, I only want a visual way to fold them into "folders". I do not need nested searches.
