Problems importing entries from EBSCOhost BibTeX file into Zotero

Hello everyone,
I have exported a selection of 50 hits as a BibTeX file via PsycInfo via EBSCOhost and then wanted to import them into Zotero. However, only 40 entries appear in my Zotero library during the import.

After some research, I realised that the file contains several entries of the type @mastersthesis. Apparently Zotero does not currently support this BibTeX type, which means that these entries are ignored during import.

Does anyone have any idea whether this could be due to another problem or how to solve it?

Many thanks for the help

Apparently Zotero does not currently support this BibTeX type
It should. Can you provide an example BibTeX entry?
  • Thank you for your answer.
I've found a solution in the meantime. Zotero did not recognise the files with type @masterthesis. When I replaced them with @article, it worked
  • In your post you said @mastersthesis, which is a valid BibTeX type. But in your subsequent comment, you said @masterthesis, which is not valid. If EBSCO is exporting @masterthesis, it might be worth contacting their support to tell them that they're producing invalid data.

(Saving using the Zotero Connector would most likely work, and that's always the recommended approach for saving items from the web.)
