Language wrong in citation

My zotero and word is set on english. I changed the zotero language from german to english because my document is english and the citations kept being german. Even tough I changed it, my references list is still german. My citation style is vancouver.

The language of your citations are set in your document, in the Zotero tab under Document Preferences.
